This page explains how to delete data you've created in Trivo. You can revoke specific integrations (TikTok, YouTube) on your own, or request full account deletion by email.
1. What data we keep about you
Depending on which features you use, we may store:
- Account: email, username, role (developer / influencer), password hash, locale preference.
- Connected social accounts (creators only): TikTok and/or YouTube — platform user id, display name, avatar URL, follower / likes / video counts, OAuth tokens, granted scopes. Used to verify the account and pull view counts for sponsored videos.
- Marketplace activity (creators only): your applications to campaigns, submitted video URLs, view-count snapshots, payout history.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, request logs (kept up to 90 days for security).
2. Disconnect TikTok or YouTube on your own
If you only want to remove an OAuth-connected social account (and keep your Trivo account), do this:
- Sign in to Trivo and open Influencer dashboard → Profile.
- Find the TikTok (or YouTube) connection card and click Disconnect.
- We immediately delete the OAuth tokens, the cached profile data (display name, avatar, follower / likes / video counts) and all granted scopes from our database. The platform user id is removed too — you can reconnect a different TikTok account afterwards.
To also revoke access on TikTok's side (so we cannot reconnect without your explicit consent again), go to tiktok.com/setting/connected-apps and revoke Trivo. For YouTube — myaccount.google.com/permissions.
3. Delete your entire Trivo account
We don't yet offer a self-service delete button. To request full deletion:
- Send an email to info@blackbalancegames.com from the email address you registered with.
- Subject: «Delete my Trivo account».
- In the body, include your username so we can find the right record.
We acknowledge requests within 5 business days. Your account is then soft-deleted for 30 days (in case you change your mind). After 30 days all primary data is permanently removed; logs and encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days after that, then expire automatically.
4. Data we are required to retain
Some records are kept longer than 90 days when law requires it — for example, financial transaction records for payouts (tax reporting obligations). When that applies we keep only the strict minimum and delete it as soon as the legal retention window ends.
