The Trivo team ("we", the "Service") respects your privacy. This document describes what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
1. What data we collect
When you register and use the Service, we collect the minimum necessary set of data:
- Account: email, username, password (encrypted).
- Profile: studio/channel name, links to Steam pages of your games or YouTube channel.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, visit times and pages — for security and analytics.
- Cookies: for session persistence and basic analytics (see our Cookies Policy).
- Connected social accounts (creators using the marketplace only): TikTok and/or YouTube — platform user id, display name, avatar URL, follower / likes / video counts, OAuth access and refresh tokens, granted scopes. Used solely to verify the account and to pull view counts on sponsored videos. You can disconnect at any time — see our Data Deletion page.
2. How we use the data
- Authentication and account operation.
- Sending service notifications (registration confirmation, password recovery).
- Analyzing product usage to improve features.
- Protection against fraud and abuse.
3. External data sources
Trivo aggregates publicly available information about video games from Steam, YouTube, Reddit and gaming media. This data relates to games, not to you personally — we process it to build analytical reports.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Transfers are only possible in these cases:
- Use of infrastructure providers (Supabase for data storage, Vercel for hosting) — they process data strictly on our behalf.
- When required by law or to protect the Service's rights.
- Connected social platforms: TikTok and YouTube — only when you explicitly connect them via OAuth. We receive read-only access tokens scoped to your basic profile, stats and your video list. We do not send any of your Trivo data back to those platforms.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. After account deletion, primary data is removed within 30 days. Logs and backups may be retained for up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
- Request a copy of your data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and all related data.
- Withdraw consent to processing.
Step-by-step instructions for deletion (including disconnecting TikTok or YouTube) are on the Data Deletion page.
